Born: October 29, 1981, in Newport Beach, California
Height: 1.72 m (5 ft 7 1⁄2 in)
College team: University of Arizona

An accomplished Olympic swimmer with 7 Olympic medals (2 gold, 4 silver, 1 bronze), Amanda Beard has also become a successful model and actress. Beard hung up the swim cap after the 2008 Olympics, but has given it a second thought and came out of retirement in August of 2010 to compete again in hopes of making Team USA for the 2012 Olympics.
